Pibran is located very near Mouton-Rothschild, Pontet-Canet and Lynch-Bages. The 10 hectare vineyard lies on one of the finest gravelly hilltops in the commune of Pauillac, in the Médoc. Acquired by Axa Millésimes, it benefits from the expertise of an experienced team and advanced technology. This property has proved itself to be a true Pauillac. Through the various vintages, its wines express all the characteristics of this exceptional terroir. Rich in tannins and generous without being excessive, it has a quite remarkable potential to age in great vintages. The property was promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification.
