The Domaine Santa Duc (a nod to the Grand Duke who Chante, Canta Duc in Provençal) after five generations of passion and work, produces wines recognized throughout the world.
Located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail , in the Vaucluse, the Grenache grape varieties (80%) and Syrah (20%) are cultivated in biodiversity , with gentleness, thoroughness and rigor. It is a blend of two terroirs, Les Aubes on sandy soils, and La Ponche on clay-silty soils, located in the town of Vacqueyras.
The alliance of these contrasting terroirs gives balanced , concentrated and generous wines .
This Vacqueyras is powerful, with great richness. With aromas of black fruits, spicy notes, on liquorice. The palate is dense and rich with ripe tannins.
