It is the great wine of Tuscany and surely one of the greatest wines in Europe. Antinori Solaia is produced mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon then Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc.

This 2008 Solaia offers the palate with an avalanche of different aromas of very ripe red fruit. On the palate, the tannins are well balanced. Despite its richness, this 2008 Solaia impresses with its balance and finesse. This wine is very tasty and mineral with a certain sweetness in the background which recalls sweet notes of cocoa, vanilla and small red and black fruits.
