Braucol rouge is made from a red grape variety native to the southwest: Braucol or Fer Servadou. This red wine has a beautiful typicity marked by a real freshness. It expresses well the attachment of its winemaker to the authenticity of his cuvées. The harvests are mainly carried out by hand. The vinification is carried out at low temperature under the action of endogenous yeasts. After fermentation, the cuvée is aged for several months to soften it.
Domaine Plageoles works with Fer Servadou or Braucol with great delicacy to promote better expression of aromas. He has given life to this old native grape variety to perpetuate the wine-growing tradition of Gaillac. In this terroir, the vines are maintained using natural methods: topping, lifting the vines by hand, mechanical weeding, de-sucking and manual disbudding, etc. This respect for nature results in a very great expression of the fruits in the cuvées.
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
