The ripe pear and quince of the noble rot is present in the 2007 Schlossbockelheimer Felsenberg Riesling Beerenauslese, with aromas of distilled gentian, gardenia, lemon, fresh bread and white truffle.
The intensity of the fragrance on the palate - here, fruit from the orchard, floral and herbal distillates - is almost out of the ordinary. Pear nectar, quince jam, apple jelly, gardenia, brown spices and some trace of minerals give an idea of how long this wine will last.
This incredible elixir - mostly harvested from Turmchen - should deserve 40 years of aging. When Donnhoff laughingly said it was Felsenberg's year, he wasn't kidding!
An extremely rare bottle on the market!
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
