Chateau LATOUR 1990

 The Grand Vin de Château Latour comes only from the old vines, with an average age of around sixty years, from the Enclosure. Gravettes, Sarmentier, Piece of the Castle, ... are some of the most beautiful plots which each year express the typicity of a terroir and forge the identity of the wine.

The heart of the Enclosure is the only one able to bring each year a depth, an elegance and a concentration worthy of what one is entitled to expect from a great wine. This is where Cabernet Sauvignon (more than 90% in the blend) gives its full expression of color, richness and freshness. These wines take time - often a decade - before they can be tasted.

n great vintages, the power and energy of Château Latour wines allow them to survive decades with ease. Their bouquet and taste impressions progressively evolve, become more and more complex to reach their optimum, the tannins are melted then the wine slowly declines. Beyond the pleasure, these wines provide real emotions and unforgettable memories.

We also recognize in Château Latour its ability to achieve very good quality wines in difficult years.
