Located at the gates of Bordeaux, in the town of Pessac, Château Haut-Brion is located on two important sections of Quaternary Günzian gravel, rich in quartz, and delimited by two streams, the Peugue and the Serpent. The basement is made of clay and sand. The 51 ha estate in one piece is planted with red grape varieties for 48 ha (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) and 3 ha of white grape varieties (Sémillon and Sauvignon). The vines are 40 years old on average.
The wines of Château Haut-Brion naturally remain at the top of the hierarchy and continue to compete with the other tenors of Bordeaux: in this appellation Pessac-Léognan, a single wine could possibly offer a rivalry, its half-brother and nevertheless neighbor, Château La Mission Haut-Brion.
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
