Château ANGÉLUS 1982

 This premier grand cru Classé takes its name Château Angélus from the winegrowers who simultaneously heard the three churches ringing in the heart of the famous medieval city of Saint-Emilion. From a clay-sand-limestone terroir, this Premier Grand Cru Classé is considered one of the most beautiful classified jewels of the appellation. The Angelus and its second wine, Carillon de l'Angélus, are the perfect expression of the inexhaustible Merlot and Cabernet Franc, which give a silky wine, of very high maturity, surprising by the freshness of its flavors. This tasty balance is dominated by flowers, red fruits, vanilla and liquorice.
