MERCUREY - LES MONTOTS - Bio DOMAINE DE VILLAINE 2016

Les Montots is a locality with fairly pronounced hillsides, exposed to the south, and planted with a selection of fine Pinot Noir from Nuits-Saint-Georges, chosen for its aromatic qualities and moderate yield.

This Mercurey Les Montots is a real Mercurey, full-bodied and vigorous. It is a deep wine with a very dark "ruby" color, which opens up little by little with age and does not reveal all its aromas until at least 5 to 7 years old. Depending on the vintage and your cellar, it can easily be stored for 15 to 20 years.

Serve it around 18 degrees with red meats, game and many cheeses, but also avoiding soft cheeses such as Camembert, Brie or Vacherin.
