YOICHI - Single Malt Whiskey - 45%

Yoichi is the first Nikka brand distillery, built in 1934. Its founder chose Hokkaido for its environmental conditions similar to Scotland where he learned how to make whiskey. Made from a blend of whiskeys of different ages, Yoichi single malt offers pleasant peat notes on the palate. The nose skillfully captures a smoky scent from traditional direct distillation. The salinity of the environment in which it has aged underlines the subtlety of its aromas on the finish.
