SAVANNA - Unpromised rum - 10 years old - Grand Arôme Herr Japan Tribute - 61.3% 2007

Initially, Domaine Savanna, located in Saint-Paul at the foot of the mountains, became a candy at the beginning of the 19th century. The Savanna distillery was born a little later, fruit of the will of Emile Hugot between 1948 and 1950. This former student of the Central School of Arts and Manufactures of Paris has been an international figure of the sugar industry. From 1982, a contract allows the Savanna distillery to raise the quality of its production in upscale rums, recognized quality that will have to be the first European distillery to be certified ISO 9002.

This savannah aged rum from Savanna 10 years old Big Aroma Herr Japan Tribute of 2007 was thus aged in the French oak barrel n ° 218. It is a Cask Strength very concentrated in aromatic molecules, Herr stands for High Ester Rum Reunion ("Rhone Reunion with high concentration of ester"). The fruit of careful selection by the cellar master, this is a selection for an isolated bottling of a particularly qualitative lot. Therefore, it was produced in a limited quantity of 761 bottles of 50cl each.
