RUM LONGUETEAU - Rum Punch - Maracuja - 1 Liter - 25%
The Longueteau family arrived in Guadeloupe in 1766, it was towards the end of the 19th century that Louis-Philippe Henry Longueteau acquired part of the Marquisate of Sainte-Marie, then put up for auction following a crisis of the sugar industry. A few years later, in 1895, he decided to purchase the Esperance home to move from being a sugar factory to a distillery.
Today it is François Longueteau who takes care of the house, the only distillery of Guadeloupe whose owner is at the same time the farmer and the master distiller. His rums are 100% derived from his own sugar cane. The juices are harvested and crushed the same day to their full maturity, following a 48h fermentation "without special effects" (no antifoam, no acidifying or other additions ...), the juices are then distilled in a column Savalle 28 trays.
This Maracuja Punch signed Longueteau was developed in the purest respect of Guadeloupe traditions. It was designed from selected fruits with care for maceration in agricultural rums 50 ° Longueteau according to a recipe "home" developed for more than 20 years.
