This wine comes from 4 plots: Rivassi and Crosia in Barolo, Castelletto in Montforte d'Alba and Ravera in the municipality of Novello. The altitudes are varied (from 250 to 500m), as well as the exposures. The vines have an average age of 20 years. Vinification and aging in stainless steel vats (no wood for this wine which wants to be totally in the fruit).
Do you have to be a genius winegrower and winemaker at the same time to make a dolcetto with as much style as this one ?! Luciano Sandrone in fact signs a very beautiful expression of full and perfectly ripe fruit, with a smooth and blooming texture. A rich and tasty dolcetto, with a lot of substance, which is quite simply one of the best products in Piedmont today.
Founded in 1978, this Piedmontese estate is renowned for producing Barolo, a prestigious Italian wine, among the finest from the local nebbiolo grape. Luciano Sandrone's nectars are appreciable from their early youth. Although most have very strong aging potential. Alas, the great Barolo cuvées reach colossal prices! The house also produces a very pretty Dolcetto d'Alba, an appellation with wiser prices. The 2015 vintage is distinguished by notes of roasting, its beautiful tannic structure, its balance on the palate and an elegant finish.
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
