L'Atypique owes its name to the particularity of its blend, which is 50% Malbec and 50% Cabernet-Franc, planted on clay-limestone soils facing southwest.
The plot used to produce this cuvée represents 2 hectares of the area of the estate. The harvest takes place mechanically and the grapes are then transported to the cellar to be fermented with indigenous yeasts.
The fermentations take place at low temperatures and concerning the Malbec, the latter undergoes a bleeding in order to extract only the fruit and the juicy side. After these different phases, the wine is aged in concrete vats for a very short time (maximum 6 months), before being bottled.
This setting takes place a fruit day and receives as only input, a very low dose of sulfur. This ruby-colored wine offers an aroma on red and black fruits (blueberry, cherry, blackcurrant), with a soft and juicy substance.
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
