Chateau LATOUR 1967

The history of Château Latour dates back to the 14th century, when the original tower was built on the estate by Gaucelme de Castillon during the Hundred Years War. Today, the castle is owned by François Pinault and his group, Artemis. The 78 hectares of the Latour vineyard , located in the Pauillac appellation , are based on an exceptional, if not extraordinary terroir and strategically located on the edge of the Gironde estuary. It is planted with 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc without forgetting the Petit Verdot.
