VERY HUMBLE - Straw Rum - PALMA JOVEN - Canary Rum - 40.4%

Born from the desire to restore an old tradition and establish a fair trade and the cleanest possible, the Brothers of the Coast have acquired a 3 mats, the Tres Hombres, on which they carry chocolate, coffee, wine, tuna and of course rum. Everything is propelled by the only force of the wind that allows this crossing of the Atlantic to bring us delicious products. The old rums of the Brothers of the Coast are carefully selected by the captain of the Tres Hombres during his halts around the Atlantic.

This Palma Joven organic agricultural straw rum is a Canarian rum presented to us by the Tres Hombres. This is the first rum selected during the tour of Tres Hombres in 2016 and also the youngest. The sugar cane pushed north-east of Palma, gently rocked by the wind before being harvested in May 2015 and distilled after its fermentation at "Aldea", in their 80-year-old copper column. He will board the Tres Hombres in November 2015 and placed in French oak barrels for his 5-month transatlantic voyage. Finally, it was bottled in Amsterdam, a bottle that is also adorned with a Red-billed Tropicbird, a bird endemic to the Canaries that does not tolerate pollution.
