MADEIRA - Vintage Madeira Solera Verdelho - CASA DOS VINHOS DA MADEIRA 1898
The story tells that the Madeira wine was mainly run by the infant D. Henrique, who encouraged the cultivation of the Malvasia Candida grape, originally from Candia de Creta, on the island of Madeira, which turned out to be a success. In the middle of the fifteenth century, Madeira wine is exported. It is notably exported to Europe, where it is considered one of the best, and even used as perfume for ladies' scarves. The prestige of this nectar was such that references to the latter in the history, arts and legends of certain nations are not uncommon.
This Madeira from the 1898 vintage, which, over 120 years old, will bring you a pleasure without a name! An extraordinary trip to the 19th century.
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
