Clos Mogador is the masterpiece of René Barbier. It is indeed to this Rhodanian trained in Burgundy and Bordeaux that we owe the existence of this great Spanish wine.
The origins of this vineyard date back to the Romans. It covers just 2000 hectares and enjoys an exceptional micro-climate because it is surrounded by mountains of 1,200 meters above sea level.
The Clos Mogador is an immense amphitheater of crumbled slates (licorella), bathing its feet in the Siurana river, rich in history and Moorish legends. This exceptional environment moves the visitor who is in the middle of all kinds of cepaje according to the altitude, the exposure, the sensitivity to the sun and the dew. All these natural factors combine in richness and fantasy to give birth to this bottle, the Clos Mogador. Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Carbernet gradually return to the oak moats selected each year and come out at the best time, only red with emotion.
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
