Hampden - White rum - LROK - Hampden - Brut still - 86.3%
The origins of the Jamaican Hampden distillery go back to 1684, then owned by a certain Thomas Goddard. Since 2009, this distillery has been bought by the Hussey family (Everglades Farms Ltd.) in the state. Today, with nearly 5,600ha of sugarcane, Hampden Rhum Company's rums are among the most authentic in Jamaica. The rums are also still distilled in the heavy pot rum style (heavy rums), with an aromatic palette rich in esters (aromatic particles) according to ancestral processes. Fermentations are made by indigenous yeasts in spontaneous fermentation in a cellar rich in historical pieces still used for a production faithful to tradition.
