BIELLE - Liqueur de Café - 24%
Bielle Distillery is located on Marie-Galante Island, in the West Indies. In 1769, Jean-Pierre Bielle was growing coffee on this island and later, in 1826, his sons teamed up to create a sugar refinery on 53 hectares. Thus, the production of rum at the Domaine did not begin until the beginning of the 20th century. After the Second World War, the property was abandoned and then bought by Paul Rameaux in 1955. In 1975, the property, the house and the distillery were taken over by SEDB (Société d'Exploitation de la Distillerie Bielle). Today, the Bielle distillery is one of the most renowned in the West Indies. The sugar cane comes from small local producers. The cane juice, obtained with two mills, is fermented for 48 hours before being distilled by three Savalle stainless steel columns.
