aint-James begins its history thanks to the intervention of the Reverend Edmond Lefebure, he was then superior father to the convent of the Brothers of Charity and chemist at heart. It was not long before he detected the potential of the eaux-de-vie distilled near his hospital and began to make them himself ... He then produced remarkable rums and gave them the name of "Saint-James".
This beautiful story, full of mystery at its beginnings, has its origins in 1765, the date of creation of the Saint-James plantations which will give its figures to this tribute cuvée. This old Saint-James Cuvée 1765 rum is the result of a fine orchestration work between rums aged for more than 6 years in small oak barrels. It is this aging in the cellars of Saint-James, on Île Sainte-Marie (Martinique) which gives all its character and sublime color to this old rum. With the A.O.P. Martinique, this Cuvée 1765 is presented in a most elegant bottle.
