Domaine BERTAGNA - Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Plantes 2014
Domaine Bertagna is located in Vougeot, in the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. The 17-hectare vineyard produces wines in regional appellations, villages, premier crus and grands crus. Coming from a family of winegrowers in the Moselle Valley in Germany, Eva Reh grew up in the vineyards discovering a love for the land and a passion for wine passed down from generation to generation. In 1988, Eva moved to France to manage and restructure the Domaine Bertagna, acquired by her father in 1982. The work of the land is done with a philosophy that advocates respect for the land and is based on a reasoned and thoughtful ecological struggle.
The Chambolle Musigny Premier Cru Les Plantes is produced from Pinot Noir grown on 0.23 hectares. The harvest is manual and the bunches are rigorously selected in the vineyard, and on a sorting table in the cellar. The bunches are completely destemmed and then the vinification lasts 18 to 21 days. Aging takes place in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new, for 15 to 18 months.
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
