Triennes - Rosé - Magnum 2020
Domaine de Triennes is located in Nans-les-Pins, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Sainte-Beaume, in Provence. At the end of the 1980s, two Burgundians, Jacques Seysses (founder of Domaine Dujac) and Aubert de Villaine, associated with a Parisian friend, Michel Macaux, set out in search of vines in the south of France. The project is based on their belief that great wines can be produced in the region. They discovered a property called at the time "Le Logis de Nans" and its 46-hectare vineyard, facing south at an altitude of 350 to 400 meters. Convinced by their Burgundian experience that the quality of great wines lies in the vines, the new owners invest heavily from the outset in the renewal and maintenance of the vineyard. Since 2011, the vineyard has been certified in organic farming.
Triennes Rosé is a blend mainly composed of Cinsault, supplemented by Grenache, Syrah and Merlot. The nocturnal harvests allow the grapes to cool, which are put into direct pressing with a skin contact of a few hours.
