Domaine Thomas Morey - Maranges 1er Cru La Fussiere 2019
Domaine Thomas Morey is located in Chassagne-Montrachet, in Burgundy. The estate has nine hectares of vines spread mainly over Chassagne-Montrachet, but also over the villages of Maranges, Santenay, Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet and Beaune. Thomas Morey is the tenth generation of Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet. Having experienced the farm of his grandparents and then that of his parents on which he worked for 12 years, he decided to create his own estate with his wife Sylvie in 2006. Thomas Morey’s estate signed its first vintage in 2007.
This Maranges 1er Cru comes from the climat of La Fussière, which covers an area of nearly 35 hectares, which makes it the most extensive Cru of the appellation. It is exposed to the south, mainly located on the hill whose altitude varies from 290 to 350 meters.
