Duquesne rum is an agricultural rum from Martinique, formerly distilled in Sainte-Luce, and now produced at the La Mauny distillery in Rivière-Pilote. In 1953, the Marraud des Grottes family, already owner of a distillery and of the Duquesne brand, bought the Trois Rivières estate and marketed Trois Rivières old rums under the Duquesne brand until 1972. In September 2019, Campari announced the he acquisition of Rhumantilles, owner of the Trois Rivières, Duquesne and La Mauny brands. Today, B.B.S. owns the brand.
This extremely rare bottle dates from the 1940s. It is a rum made from sugar cane from the Val d´Or Plantations and aged for 7 years in oak barrels.
