Douglas Laing is an independent bottler located in Glasgow, Scotland. It was established in 1948 and is still a family-owned business. It produces a number of brands, including the “Remarkable Regional Malts” range, encompassing The Epicurean, Scallywag, Rock Island, Big Peat, Provenance…

XOP The Black Series is a brand extension to the Xtra Old Particular Single Cask Scotch Whisky. Each bottle is filled by hand and features an embossed metallised label, glass stopper and the handwritten signatures of Fred and Cara Laing. A black moleskin display case carries a certificate of authenticity alongside the whisky bottle.

This edition of Ledaig was distilled at the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull in April 1998. It is a bottling from one refill Sherry Butt. The whisky was bottled in September 2021 and 340 bottles have been produced.
