Rom de Luxe is a brand from Denmark. The company was created by three friends who share the same passion and hobby: rum. Claus Andersen is from Central Jutland, Kim Pedersen and Michael Ginnerup are from New-Zeland. The company is specialised in spirits sales, but also markets their own Rom de Luxe brands.

Diamond Batch 2 is part of the Collectors Series. The rum was distilled in June 1996 in Guyana, at the Diamond Distillery. The rum (Mark MDS) was aged both in tropical and continental climate for 25 years in total. It comes from a Single Cask (#101) that produced 193 bottles.
