Appleton Estate - Heats Collection by Velier - 18 ans - Vintage 2003 - Bottled 2021 - 63%

Appleton Estate is a sugar and rum producer located in the middle of Jamaica's Nassau Valley, where rum-making has been around for over 265 years. Surrounded by densely wooded limestone hills, the topography of the region makes it an original rum. The rums are aged in a tropical climate, which allows the spirit to mature more quickly. Appleton Estate produces 4 expressions of standard rums and 4 expressions with indication of age.

The 2003 edition was distilled in a Forsyth pot still, and then aged for 18 years. Cask No. 420930 to No.420950 were blended together to create this limited-edition collection. 5,000 bottles have been produced.
