GlenDronach is a Single Malt of historical significance and highly valued, produced in the village of Forgue, near Huntly in Aberdeenshire in the Highlands Scottish. The original house, Glen House, was built in 1771 and the distillery was added in 1826 by its founder James Allardice . The distillery changed hands several times before coming under the control of Teacher and Sons, producers of a popular blend, in 1960. GlenDronach production played an important role, until the facility was commissioned. eve in 1996. It was reopened by Allied Distillers in 2001 and became the property of Chivas Brothers of the Pernod-Ricard group in 2006, before being purchased by the Benriach Distillery Company in 2008. The Benriach group, comprising the GlenDronach distilleries and Glengassaugh, was acquired by the Brown-Forman Company in 2016.
GlenDronach Parliament is a 21 year old aged in barrels of Sherry Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez . It takes its name from the colony of crows that have been nesting in the trees overlooking the distillery for 200 years.
