BIMBER - The First Peated - 54.10%

The Bimber Distillery is located in London , England . It was founded by whiskey lovers ( Ewelina Chruszczyk and Dairusz Plazewski ), with a mission to produce high quality Single Malt with character, using traditional methods rarely seen today. All barley is grown on one farm. It is then traditionally ground malted, crushed by hand and slowly fermented for seven days in handcrafted wooden vats at their own cooperage. They use direct fire to heat the small copper stills, and the spirit matures in hand-selected casks. Finally, the whiskey is blended and bottled on site at the distillery. Bimber's first casks were filled on May 26, 2016 and released three years later in September 2019 - the limited release of 1,000 hand-numbered bottles sold out within 3 hours. Since 2020, Bimber has launched a wider range of new Single Malt whiskies.

The First is a limited edition from the first release of the distillery's peated versions. 1,140 bottles were produced.
