Cognac Hennessy - Cuvée Paradis - Carafe with box - 45%

Hennessy is a Cognac House founded by the Irish Jacobite military officer Richard Hennessy in 1765. After serving in the army of Louis XV, he retired to the Cognac region and began distilling and exporting eaux-de- life, first to the United Kingdom and his native Ireland, then to the United States. In 1813, Richard Hennessy's son, James Hennessy, gave the company its trading name, Jas Hennessy & Co. He was also behind the choice of Jean Fillioux as the house's Master Blender: a member of the Fillioux family has held the position ever since, a business relationship that has spanned 8 generations and over 250 years. In 1971, Kilian Hennessy led the company's merger with Moët et Chandon, to create Moët Hennessy. In 1987, Moët Hennessy announced a merger with Louis Vuitton, creating LVMH. Hennessy sells approximately 102 million bottles of its cognacs per year, making it the largest cognac producer in the world.

Hennessy Paradis is a blend of cognacs selected in the House's oldest and most precious cellar, where the barrels of the best eaux-de-vie are stored, some dating back to 1880.
