Cognac Remy Martin - 1738 - Royal Accord - 40%
Rémy Martin is a Cognac House, founded in 1724. The company has belonged to the Rémy Cointreau Group since 1991. In 1870, to accompany the development of the House, Paul-Émile Rémy Martin (4th generation) chose the Centaur as its emblem and created the first logo. This astronomy enthusiast is inspired by his zodiac sign, Sagittarius. Since 1948, Rémy Martin has blended all of its Cognacs from the two crus from the heart of the region: Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne . Rémy Martin's know-how is also based on traditional distillation on the lees in small stills. The long aging phase takes place in Limousin oak barrels.
1738 Accord Royal takes its name from the year 1738, when King Louis XV granted Remy Martin the right to plant new vineyards, in recognition of the quality of his eaux-de-vie. It is aged for at least 12 years in French oak barrels.
