Flor de Cana - Coffee Liqueur - Spresso - 25%
Flor de Caña ("sugar cane flower" in Spanish) is a brand of rum produced by Compañía Licorera de Nicaragua, located in Managua, Nicaragua . In 1890, the company originally sought to develop a large sugar cane plantation and built the first distillery in Chichigalpa at the foot of the San Cristóbal volcano . The fertility of the surrounding land, the enriched water and the hot volcanic climate proved instrumental in forging the unique, smooth flavor of the rum. Compañía Licorera de Nicaragua was founded in 1937 by the great-grandfather of the current president, who left Italy for Nicaragua in 1875. Flor de Caña is a world leader in sustainable practices , certified carbon neutral and fair trade. The raw materials come from sustainable sources and the cane juice is produced with renewable energy. The rums are naturally aged without sugar and the bottling process is powered by solar energy.
