Sumarroca - Cava Brut Reserva - Organic 2019
Sumarroca is located in the rural estate of Molí Coloma, right in the heart of the Penedès region of Spain . The family estate was created in 1980 by Carles Sumarroca and the vineyards are now spread over three estates: Molí Coloma, Heretat Sabartés and Finca Sumarroca covering a total area of approximately 465 hectares. These three estates are divided into more than 100 plots which together produce more than 20 different grape varieties. Sumarroca is known for its commitment to protecting the environment and biodiversity through its responsible and organic viticulture and winemaking processes.
Cava Reserva Brut is a blend of Xarel-lo, Parellada, Macabeu and Chardonnay . It is produced according to the traditional method and is aged on slats for a minimum of 20 months . After disgorging, the wine is aged for another 3 months. It is bottled with a dosage of 3g/L.
