L'Envolée is a blend of Grolleau Noir and Grolleau Gris . The vines of Grolleau Noir are around 50 years old, those of Grolleau Gris are 20 years old. Maceration lasts 3 weeks, then aging lasts 12 months in barrels, 1/3 of which are new .
