PENDERYN - Small Batch - French Flair - 50%

Penderyn Distillery is located at the southern end of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales . Distilling in Wales was a lost art, but in the late 1990s a group of friends decided to create the first whiskey distillery there in over a century. The location in the historic village of Penderyn was chosen due to the site's supply of fresh natural spring water. Their whiskey was launched on St David's Day 2004 in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Charles.

Penderyn French Flair is a limited edition produced as part of the 2023 Rugby World Cup . The whiskey is aged for 6 years in French wine barrels from the Cadillac region, then 4 years in Cognac barrels . On the box, we find the names of the countries in the same group as Wales: Fiji, Australia, Georgia and Portugal. 600 bottles were sold.
