Domaine de la Bouissière - Gigondas 2021
Domaine de la Bouïssière is located in Gigondas, in the south of the Rhône Valley . The estate was founded in the late 1950s by Antonin Faravel, who had worked at the neighboring Domaine Pierre Amadieu since the age of 14, and who decided to plant vines on the land inherited from his father. The vines were located at a place called La Grande Bouïssière, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Originally, the harvests were sold to Domaine Pierre Amadieu. It was from 1978 that Domaine de la Bouïssière began producing its own wine, with three vats and an old press. Today, the estate is managed by brothers and sisters Gilles, Thierry and Josiane . They produce wines in 3 appellations: Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Beaumes-de-Venise. They implement organic farming, without certification .

Fermentation lasts 30 days in concrete vats , with daily pumping over and punching down. The wine is aged in casks of 2 to 5 wines (65%) and in vats (35%) .
