Domaine Vincent Girardin - Beaune 1er Cru - Clos des Aigrots 2021
Domaine Vincent Girardin is located in Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy . In 1980, at the age of 19, Vincent Girardin, from a winemaking family in Santenay since the 17th century, wanted to become independent and started with the two hectares of vines inherited from his parents. Very quickly, the quality of its wines was recognized worldwide and allowed it to expand its activity by focusing mainly on the great whites and reds of the Côte de Beaune (Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet, Saint Aubin, Santenay , Savigny Les Beaune, Aloxe Corton, Volnay and Pommard). In 2012, Vincent Girardin sold his business to a historic partner of the House: Monsieur Nié , President of the Compagnie des Vins d'Autreviens in Beaune.

Aging lasts 15 months in barrels, 30% of which are new . One month before bottling, the wine from the different barrels is assembled in vats. Bottling is done according to the lunar calendar.
