Cantine San Marzano - 60 Sessantanni Old Vines Primitivo di Manduria 2018

Cantine San Marzano is a cooperative winery located in Puglia, Italy . The company was founded in 1962 by 19 winegrowers. Bulk wines were produced until 1996 when a bottling line was installed. After that, San Marzano begins to focus on its own brand.

Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria is made from Primitivo whose vines are at least 60 years old. The vineyards are located around San Marzano and Sava. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts then aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months .

Grape variety: 100% Primitivo
