Domaine Neumeyer - Gewurztraminer StierKopf - Bull 2021
Domaine Neumeyer is located in Molsheim , in Alsace . The estate was founded in 1925 and four generations have succeeded one another since then. The current team is made up of Jérôme Neumeyer, Marie Neumeyer-Tonner and Frédéric Tonner . The vineyard extends over 16 hectares, spread over three communes including the famous places called Schaefferstein, Stierkopf and the Grand Cru Bruderthal. All plots are managed according to the principles of organic farming and the winemaking techniques are minimalist.
Gewurztraminer Taureau is a single-plot cuvée from the locality of Stierkopf in Mutzig, which literally means “bull’s head”. This south-facing terroir benefits from a steep slope, which allows the grapes to ripen greatly.
