Domaine de Villaine - Côte Chalonnaise - La Fortune 2022

Domaine de Villaine is located in Bouzeron , in the north of Côte-Chalonnaise in Burgundy . The estate was purchased by Aubert and Pamela de Villaine in 1971, and has been managed since 2001 by their nephew, Pierre de Benoist . Since 1986, organic farming methods have been developed within the vineyard. The estate has several climats in the communes of Bouzeron, Rully, Mercurey and Santenay which are planted with Aligoté, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

La Fortune comes from the place called La Fortune, neighboring La Digoine. The vine being younger, Le Fortune is a very fruity wine but more tender than La Digoine. It is recommended to enjoy it within 2 to 3 years after bottling.

Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
