Château LEOVILLE LAS CASES 2014
THE Château Léoville Las Cases is located at Saint-Julien-Beychevelle , in the region of Bordeaux . He is classy Second Grand Cru Classé in the Médoc and Graves Classification of 1855. The estate has a history dating back to the mid-17th century, when it was part of a much larger estate. During the French Revolution, the estate was divided in two with a small section becoming Château Léoville-Barton. In 1840, the original estate was divided again, creating Château Léoville-Poyferré. Pierre-Jean, Adolphe and Gabriel de Las Cases were the successive heirs of the property until 1900, when Théophile Skawinski took a share of the estate and became its manager. Léoville Las Cases is today run by the same family since the end of the 19th century and is today represented by Jean-Hubert Delon , sole owner of the Château and owner of Château Potensac in Médoc and Château Nénin in Pomerol.
Léoville Las Cases 20 14 is an assembly of Cabernet Sauvignon ( 79 %), Cabernet Franc (11 % ) and Merlot ( 10 %) .
