Georges Roumier Estate - Clos de la Bussière - Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru 2022
Domaine Georges Roumier is located in Chambolle-Musigny, in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy . It was founded by Georges Roumier following his marriage to Geneviève Quanquin, who brought family vineyards as a dowry. After Georges took over, his son Jean-Marie took over in 1961, followed by his grandson Christophe in 1990, who currently manages the estate. The vineyard has gradually expanded through the acquisition and management of prestigious plots, such as Bonnes-Mares, Musigny, and Clos de Vougeot. It now covers 12 hectares. In both the vineyard and the winery, the estate team allows nature to express itself fully. Chemical fertilizers were abandoned in 1988, before herbicides were eliminated the following year.
