La Maison Du Rhum is located in Paris , in the 18th arrondissement in Bas Montmartre. It was founded in 2015 by Eddy La Viny and his son Tom , both originally from Guadeloupe. La Maison Du Rhum is the realization of a project: to bring together in one place, the entire world of rum with a choice of references from all over the world (old, white, amber, exceptional, vintage, spiced, infused, arranged, punch rums, etc.) but also glassware, collector's miniatures, enameled plaques, magazines, rum guides, etc. In 2019, Eddy La Viny continued to develop the family business alone. He was joined by Gloria Aimé, together they created the new point of sale located in the 17th arrondissement. La Maison du Rhum is now recognized as one of the key players in the specialized wine merchant sector.
