Awen Nature - Green Absinthe - 60%

The Awen Nature Distillery is located in La Bouëxière , Brittany . It was created by Julien Fanny in 2013. The word "Nature" in the name of the distillery already gives an idea of the importance of environmentally friendly production. environment at the distillery. Sustainability and environmental protection play an important role. Julien uses recyclable materials and environmentally friendly packaging. He even delivers his spirits by bicycle to customers in Rennes, the largest city in the world. close. All of its spirits are certified organic and all of the herbs are organically grown. The majority even come from the immediate vicinity of the distillery. The plants are macerated in organic cereal alcohol for 2 days and then distilled. Julien does not add artificial colors or preservatives. All Awen Nature spirits are produced according to traditional recipes and ancient production methods. The labels were designed by the artist Gwladys Rose . They were inspired by the Celtic traditions of Brittany. Some of the labels illustrate nymphs or fairies who represent the fusion between humanity and nature.

Absinthe Verte La Botaniste is created and distilled in the same way as absinthes made before the ban in 1915. This particular recipe was the subject of a long year of research by the creator of the Awen Nature Distillery. It retains a dominant note of herbaceous plants through hyssop, calamint and wild thyme. It also has a slightly aniseed note through its moderate presence of anise, fennel and star anise.
