The Séailles estate, a family estate since 1961, is located in the heart of Gascony in the town of Mouchan, a stone's throw from the Château de Laressingle and the abbey of Flaran.
It occupies a terroir of high altitude hillsides very favored by geology because it is composed of fine clay-limestone and gravel soils, exposed to the east and south and benefiting from exceptional sunshine. The estate is made up of 26 hectares of vines, half planted with white grape varieties; Sauvignon, Gros Manseng, Ugni Blanc and red grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. The Ugni Blanc grape variety is mainly reserved for the traditional production of the Domaine: Armagnac Ténarèze.
The Séailles estate is one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in Côtes de Gascogne wine. The domain is, in Organic Agriculture, certified by Ecocert.
