Habitation Velier is a project born from the will of Luca Gargano, probably the greatest rum specialist in this world. Luca Gargano comes from a large Italian family, known for the quality of his goods, a family of explorers who aims a qualitative rather than lucrative distribution. For each distilleries, the aim is to highlight the best distillers from their Pure Single rums, each time with an original project signed by Habitation Velier to produce a world first for each unique signature distillery.

The famous Caroni distillery is founded in 1918 in the state of Trinidad (Trinidad) & Tobago. This state distillery then owns its own sugar refinery to ensure its supply of raw material, high quality sugar canes produced on site. Highly equipped with different types of stills (columns and iron), this legendary distillery has long remained "secret" and "mystical". Indeed, few of their rums have been bottled under their own label. Their eaux-de-vie have a very unique aromatic profile with fragrances of hydrocarbons, sweet spices and honey. Unfortunately, the government decided to close the distillery in 2002 following a crisis in the sugar industry. As a result, their scarcity has risen sharply, making these rums so atypical in a mythical dimension.

This Royal Navy LMDW Cellar Book is a blend of more than 20 years of Caroni, British Guyana rums of over 15 years and a 12-year-old Jamaican Single Rum that we owe to the famous Luca Gargano inescapable in the world of rum. All the ingredients are there for a very high-flying result, a marvel that we have the privilege and the honor to present to you.
