CHÂTEAU TOUR SAINT HONORE - Cuvée TSH - Magnum 2018
Château Tour Saint Honoré is located in La Londe Les Maures, in Provence. Formerly owned by a wealthy family of local notables, the Tour Saint-Honoré has been managed since 1988 by Serge and Chantal Portal. The 30-hectare vineyard has been cultivated in certified organic farming since 2011 and is located in several geographical sites: La Vallée des Borrels in the North, Notre Dame des Maures in the Center, Le Haut and Bas Pensard in the South. Most of the vineyard faces due south, facing the Golden Islands. The cultivated grape varieties are the local varieties of Provence.
The TSH Rosé cuvée is a blend of Cinsault (40%), Grenache (40%), Mourvèdre (10%), Rolle (5%) and the native Tibouren (5%). The harvest is completely destemmed then each grape variety is vinified separately. Skin maceration is short and fermentation lasts 3 weeks. The wines of each grape variety are aged in stainless steel vats, on fine lees for 5 months, then they are blended by tasting.
