Cognac Delamain - Pale & Dry - 50cl - 42%
Cognac Delamain is located in Jarnac, in Grande Champagne in Cognac. In 1759, James Delamain, an Irishman settled down as a merchant in Cognac. In 1824, his grandson Henri Delamain founded Maison Delamain. Over the generations, successive owners have infused their Cognac with a part of themselves because in addition to running the House, they were at the same time archaeologist, ornithologist, historian, writer, humanist, botanist. This openness to natural and human sciences helped reveal these exceptional Cognacs. For more than 20 years, the Bollinger family joined Maison Delamain, today they chair the company. The eaux-de-vie are entrusted to the good care of Dominique Touteau, the Cellar Master
Pale & Dry was produced for the first time in 1920. It is produced exclusively from eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, the Premier Cru of Cognac. It is aged in old oak barrels then it is assembled and reduced slowly.
