Georges Descombes - Beaujolais Blanc 2020
Domaine Georges Descombes is located in Villié-Morgon, in Beaujolais. In 1988, Georges took over the family estate inherited from his grandmother. At the time, he also worked in a bottling company and with other winegrowers in the region. It was not until 1993 that he devoted himself entirely to his own estate. From the beginning, the vineyard, which today reaches 17 hectares, has been cultivated organically without certification. He owns 7 hectares in Morgon, the rest of the plots are in Brouilly, Régnié, Chiroubles and other wines are produced under the Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages appellations.
The Beaujolais Blanc is made from Chardonnay. It is vinified in vats then aged in barrels of several wines for 12 months.
